How to use it

The service does one thing: it turns a word you ran into somewhere into a card with a translation, an example, grammar and a picture — and then keeps asking you about those cards until the word sticks. There is nothing to fill in by hand.

Getting started

1 Create an account Email and password, half a minute. You can start right away — the confirmation letter comes separately and matters later.
2 Pick your language pair What you are learning and which language you are comfortable with. The pair works both ways, no need to swap it around.
3 Open "Lesson" and take 10–15 words If you have no words of your own yet, they come from the shared dictionary. You do not have to add anything to begin.

The language pair

A pair is "what I learn ← from which language", for example "Svenska ← English". It sits at the top of the screen and switches there.

You can have several pairs Set them up on the "Language pairs" page in the menu. Each keeps its own progress.
Type a word in either language The service works out which one: "house" and "hus" land on the same card, not on two different ones.
Cards run both directions The switch above the card decides which side you are asked from.

Adding words

In the app The round plus button at the bottom right. One word, several lines at once, or "word — translation" if you want to set the translation yourself.
From the browser The Chrome extension: select a word on any page, right-click, "Add to dictionary". It installs from the site, no key to type in.
From Telegram Send the word to the bot — it replies with the breakdown and puts the word in your dictionary.

Your own dictionary is part of the paid version. The free version trains you on the shared dictionary, and your progress there is still your own.

The five tabs

Cards The word on one side, translation and picture on the other. Tap to flip; "I know" and "I don't" move the rating, and weaker words come up more often. The example and the delete bin live here too.
Lesson You take a batch of words: first you just read the list and can drop what you do not need, then comes the check — pick the translation, fill the gap in a sentence, write the word. A miss brings the word back at the end.
Writing You get the translation and the picture, and spell the word out. The most honest test there is.
List The whole dictionary with search. You see each word's rating, picture and part of speech, and can delete from here.
Phrases You write your own sentence with a given word and the service checks it and shows what to fix. This one is paid.

Pictures and badges

The picture is drawn for the meaning of the word the moment the word enters your dictionary. It is not searched for on the web but actually drawn — which is why verbs and adjectives get one too.

The part-of-speech badge Next to the word you see 📦 noun, 🏃 verb, 🎨 adj., 🧭 adv., 💬 phrase. It matters more than it looks: "hållbar" (durable) is drawn as a mighty oak, and without the "adj. what kind?" badge the picture reads as "oak".
A picture can be redrawn The "Picture" button under the card: draw it again, or remove it.
Some words have no picture Grammar words have nothing to draw, and that is fine.

The Telegram bot

Telegram is optional — the account lives on your email. But if you link the bot, you can throw words straight into the chat.

/link code Link Telegram to your account. The code is on the "Account" page.
/profile See your language pairs and switch between them.
/token The key for the Chrome extension, if you ever need to type it in.
/login A one-time code for signing in on the site.
/help The list of commands.

What it costs

For the first two weeks everything works. No card is needed — there is nowhere to enter one, the service takes no payments yet at all.

Demo, 14 days Full access: your own dictionary through the bot and the extension, your sentences checked, a picture and grammar for every word. The strip under the header shows the days left.
When the demo ends The account stays, and lessons on the shared dictionary keep working for free. Only the personal part switches off: adding words and checking sentences.
After that — 49 kr a month Payment comes later. Until it does, extensions are granted on request and for free: press "Extend" in the strip under the header and the request reaches the owner.

If something goes wrong

The confirmation letter never arrived Check the spam folder. It does not block you: confirmation only matters once payment exists.
Forgot the password The sign-in page has recovery — a link comes to your email.
A word was parsed wrongly Delete it with the bin and add it again as "word — translation": then the translation is yours and the service adds grammar and an example.
Changing the site language The RU / EN / SV buttons at the top. The interface language and the languages you study are different things.
